Abstract: All you Disney Princess fans! A regal scene from your favorite movie series has begun to rule the market in San Francisco, California.

The neoclassical Mediterranean mansion featured in "The Princess Diaries," starring Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews, is now on the market for $8.9 million.

The house's art exterior is the setting for the fictional school Princess Mia (Hathaway) attended before her true identity was revealed.

In addition to the grand double-curving staircase at the front door, the century-old house has an array of other camera-friendly features.

Located on the eastern edge of the Fortress wall at the intersection of the Pacific Heights and Cow Hollow communities, this home offers unparalleled views of the bay, city and forest that are truly rare.

Owner Michael Mendez, former CEO of Just Dessert, and his wife, Wendy Berry Mendez, bought the property in 2009 for $5.7 million.

They kept the spectacular architecture while adding upscale modern amenities.

The 4,554 sq ft mansion has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

There are large Windows throughout the house and all the bedrooms have spectacular views.

The main floor is flooded with natural light and seamlessly flows from the elegant living room to the formal dining area to the beautifully updated kitchen with breakfast nook.

Other luxurious features include a media room, gym/office/media room, as well as a luxury rooftop garden, outdoor kitchen, heater, and fire pit.

According to the San Francisco Standard, the Mendezes' daughter was a big fan of the Princess Diaries when they bought the house.

After living there for 20 years, the family is moving to the East Coast in search of new career opportunities.

Former San Francisco Giants owner Bob Lurie previously owned the home.
